The Blueair 450E is a great air purifier for allergy sufferers and people who want to protect themselves from general air pollution. The 450E air purifier has a digital control panel and a remote control for added comfort. It uses the Blueair patented three-stage HEPASilent™ technology, which effectively captures large and small particle pollution.

When the "Change Filter Indicator" reminds you to change the filters every 6 months, simply open the side, slide out the used filters and drop in the replacement filter.

1. Easy to Operate
The Blueair 450E has a digital display system and a remote control, providing you with feedback about particle detection, air purifier speed and timer operation. You can change the speed settings with your remote control, making operating your air purifier as convenient and easy as possible.

The intelligent filter life indicator and electronic particle sensors (light scatter) are also displayed on the 450E's display and enable you to see that the unit is effectively removing particle pollution from your home. It also tells you when it is time to change the filter.

The Blueair 450E uses Blueair's patented HEPASilent™ technology. This filtration technology is a combination of mechanical and electrostatic filtration, and allows the Blueair 450E to deliver more clean air at a faster rate with less noise then any other domestic air purifier.

The Blueair 450E's Surround Air diffuses the clean air gently through a large area in the front, creating the lowest possible amount of draft and thus also limiting noise levels.

Filtration Technology

The Blueair 450E air cleaner uses a Blueair Three-Stage Progressive Filter. Each of the three filters is made up out of three different levels of millions of ultra thin fibers. Large particles such as pollen and dust are captured by the first filter layer. Small and ultra small particles such as bacterias and exhaust are captured by the second and third filter layer.

This Three-Stage Progressive filter design prevents the units filter from clogging up prematurely and allows the 450E to perform longer on peak performance.

Regular air purifier filters are often thinner and mostly consist of the same fiber size and filter material throughout, which leads them to clog up sooner then the Blueair filters.
