  • 1. Easy to Operate
  • The Blueair 650E has a digital display system and remote control, providing you with feedback about particle detection, air purifier speed and timer operation. You can change the speed settings with your remote control, making operating your Blueair 650E as convenient and easy as possible.
The Blueair 650E’s display also features an intelligent filter life indicator and electronic particle and gas sensors, enabling you to see that the unit is effectively removing particle pollution from your home. The display also tells you when it is time to change the filter.

  • 2. & 3. Ultra Quiet
  • The 650E uses Blueair’s patented HEPASilent technology. This filtration technology is a combination of mechanical and electrostatic filtration, and allows the Blueair 650E to deliver more clean air at a faster rate with less noise than any other domestic air purifier. The 650E can handle up to 5 air changes per hour.
The Blueair 650E SurroundAir diffuses the clean air gently through a large area into three different directions, an area six times greater than the average air cleaner. Blueair’s SurroundAir system achieves peak performance without annoying drafts by drawing in dirty air from the sides and bottom and releasing clean, filtered air from the sides and top.
Blueair’s HEPASilent technology and SurroundAir system allows the Blueair 650E to have an exceptionally low energy consumption.

  • 4. Design & Durability
  • Winner of the Excellent Swedish Design Award, the Blueair 650E has the sleek and contemporary look that Blueair air purifiers are famous for. It is built with a galvanised steel housing that is impact resistant and easy to clean. The Blueair 650E filters consist of non-toxic polypropylene media that is 100% free of harmful triclosan and glass fibers.

Below is a comparison table which shows what the differences are between the Blueair 600 series range of air purifiers.

The Blueair 650E, as with all other Blueair air purifiers, uses a Three-Stage Progressive Filter – a filter that resembles having many filters in one.
The filter is made up out of three different levels of millions of ultra thin fibers, and with its ‘lock-in’ design, once captured the particles are not re-released back into your environment, even when the filter is heavily loaded.
The first layers capture larger particles like pollen and dust, and the later layers capture smaller particles like bacteria and exhaust particles.
The 650E filter kit includes three particle filters, one for each side that clean air is released from the unit.

Regular air purifier filters are thinner and mostly consist of the same fiber size and material throughout, this leads to them clogging up sooner. However, the unique design of the Blueair 650E Three-Stage Progressive Filter resists clogging, and allows the 650E to perform longer on its peak performance.

When the filter needs to be replaced (around every six months), just open the lid, take out the old filter and put the new one in. No screws, hooks or tools are needed.

The Blueair 650E air purifier can also be used with the 600 Series SmokeStop HEPA replacement filters, which adds 0.9kg of activated carbon for odour and gas filtration.
