The Blueair 450E SmokeStop air purifier comes with the odour and gas capturing SmokeStop filter, as well as digital control panel display and a remote control. This air purifier uses the Blueair patented two-stage HEPASilent™ technology, which captures 99.95% of the particles down to 0.3 microns and 99.97% of particles down to 0.1 microns on level one.

1. Easy to Operate
The Blueair 450E SmokeStop has a digital display system and a remote control, providing you with feedback about particle detection, air purifier speed and timer operation. The intelligent filter life indicator and electronic particle and gas sensors are also displayed on the Blueair 450E's display and enable you to see that the unit is effectively removing particle pollution from your home, and when it is time to change the filter.

The Blueair 450E SmokeStop uses Blueair's patented HEPASilent™ technology. This filtration technology is a combination of mechanical and electrostatic filtration, and allows the Blueair 450E SmokeStop to deliver more clean air at a faster rate and with less noise then any other domestic air purifier.

The Blueair 450E SmokeStop's Surround Air diffuses the clean air gently through a large area in the front, creating the lowest possible amount of draft and thus also limiting noise levels.

The HEPASilent™ technology allows the Blueair 450E SmokeStop to have an exceptionally low energy consumption.

Filtration Technology

The Blueair 450E SmokeStop uses the Blueair's Three-Stage Progressive Filter as well as an additional layer of activated carbon for gas and odour filtration. The 450E SmokeStop filter is made up out of three different levels of millions of ultra thin fibers. Large particles such as pollen and dust are captured by the Blueair 450E SmokeStop in its first filter layer. Small and ultra small particles such as bacterias and exhaust are captured by the second and third filter layer. Gas and odour molecules are captured in the additional SmokeStop layer of activated carbon.

This Three-Stage Progressive filter design prevents the Blueair 450E SmokeStop filters from clogging up prematurely and allows the 450E SmokeStop to perform longer on peak performance.

Regular air purifier filters are thinner and mostly consist of the same fiber size and filter material through out, which leads them to clog up sooner then the Blueair units.
