The IQAir GC Chemisorber's filter system consist of a "Class A" HEPA Pre-Filter and a gas filter consisting of 5.4 kg/12 lbs. of gas phase media that is made up of Granulated Impregnated Alumina (with KMnO, impregnated).

Filtration Technology

Micro-Particle Filtration
through high-efficiency HEPA pre-filter, for capturing pollen, pet, dust mite, and mold allergens as well as other particle pollution. HEPA class H11filter with a high-capacity mini-pleat design solvent-free separators and surface area of 2.8 sqm. The Pre Filter of the GC Chemisorber is CFC-free.
Odour and Gas Elimination
through 4 Gas & Odour Control Filter Cartridges, eliminating among other pollutant Sulfur Dioxide, Hydrogen Sulfide, Formaldehyde, through 5.4 kg of wide-spectrum media mix of granular activated carbon and KMnO impregnated alumina.
Fine Dust Removal
through 4 electrostatically charged fibre filters, capturing fine dust on a 0.5 sqm surface area.
