The HeathPro 250 air purifier is IQAir’s "Allergy and Asthma Specialist". The HealthPro 250 is designed for people suffering from all kinds of respiratory conditions, including asthma, allergies, upper respiratory infection, influenza, as well as croup. The Health Pro 250's highly efficient HyperHEPA filtration technology in combination with its gas and chemical V5 filter allows the HealthPro 250 to remove virtually all particulate and gas air pollution, making it ideal especially for people suffering from asthma.

Filtration Technology

1. Micro-Particle Filtration
   through PreMax Pre-Filter, for capturing pollen, pet, dust mite and mould allergens. The Pre-Filter of the HealthPro 250 air cleaner consists of a high-capacity mini-pleat design with solvent-free separators and a CFC-free construction. The media of the filter is a wet laid non-woven glass microfiber and has an efficiency of 55% at 0.3 μm (class F8). The surface area of HealthPro 250's Pre-Filter is 2.8m2. This large surface area in combination with the leakage free design of all IQAir air purifiers, protects the fan and subsequent filters from large particle pollution and premature loading.
2. Odour and Gas Elimination 
   through the V5-Cell Wide Spectrum Gas and Odour Filter, which eliminates volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and destroys harmful chemicals, such as formaldehyde. The HealthPro 250's V-shaped design of the Odour Filter allows the use of 2.5 kg of IQAir's highly efficient gas and odour filter medium. The media consists of a MultiGas granular activated carbon & KMnO4 impregnated alumina - the most effective material to filter out a broad spectrum of gases, chemicals and odours.
3. Industry’s Highest Filtration Rate
   through patented HyperHEPA clean-room-grade high-efficiency particulate arresting filtration which eliminates bacteria, viruses, as well as particulate air pollution from traffic, industry, tobacco smoke and more. The HealthPro's HyperHEPA Filter has a CFC-free construction and a filtration efficiency of 99.97% for particles down to 0.3 micron and 99.5% for particles down to 0.003 micron. The media is a HEPA class H12/H13 filter with a wet laid glass microfiber, mini pleated with solvent free separators. The surface area of HealthPro 250's HyperHEPA Filter is an astounding 5m2 - guaranteeing optimal filtration for up to 2 years under an average pollution level and speed setting.
